We invite you to an important workshop led by Dr Jo Watson, focusing on building effective communication strategies that empower decision-making for people who communicate informally.

About the Workshop:
Participants will be introduced to the concept of supported decision-making, with a special focus on applying these principles to individuals who communicate outside of traditional formal methods. Dr Jo Watson will share her extensive research and practice on inclusive, supported approaches that respect each person’s ability to communicate and make decisions.
The workshop will be interactive and collaborative, offering participants, circles of support, and staff teams the opportunity to:
- Explore communication strategies tailored to individuals who communicate informally
- Focus on practical techniques to support decision-making
- Engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative learning
