Does your brain feel like it just might explode when it comes to texting and emoji’s?
Come along and learn how to decipher and use emoji’s and text jargon in our FREE Brunch and Learn event on Tuesday, 16 July. You can also find out about other FREE programs on offer to help increase your confidence and knowledge of using the internet and its many features.
Bring along your smart phone or other digital device and a friend or two so you can put what you learn into practice.
This will be an open learning session for all members of the community aged in their 50's or older.
Information will be available about our Be Connected Program, a course run each month at The Place helping people develop the skills and confidence to get started using the internet. We also have a Technology Support Social Group, which is a facilitated group aimed at building on your knowledge and assisting with specific problems relating to computers, tablets and smartphones.
